Threads With a Cause
Guilty of Doing Good:
In 2016, I stood alongside fellow combat Veterans to co-found Veterans Community Project (VCP). Our philosophy is simple: we believe a Veteran is anyone who raised their hand to serve, and we don't leave anyone behind. VCP serves any Veteran, regardless of discharge status.
Before designing these threads, I served my nation as an officer in the United States Navy. I know firsthand that for many, the transition back to civilian life is a struggle. That struggle led my co-founders and me to build an organization that helps Veterans in every way possible—from navigating complex benefits to housing homeless Veterans in tiny homes. We provide dignity, privacy, professional accountability and a "battle buddy" or "shipmate" system of support.
Your purchase today supports this mission, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to VCP. Thank you for helping us provide a home for the brave.
Link to the Law:
Why the legal theme? One of my VCP co-founders is a Marine turned attorney (though he self-admittedly jokes about his skill level), and my sister is a lawyer as well. As for me, my path hasn't included law school yet—but it will in the next few years. I believe we should use the law to do good things, help people, and have some fun along the way.
The Fine Print:
Lawyer Threads is not associated with the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Department of the Navy (DoN). All thoughts expressed here are those of LawyerThreads.com. While Veterans Community Project is the beneficiary of a percentage of our sales, they do not officially endorse this business—but they are certainly happy to put the donations to good use! Let’s show the world that the law is cool while helping our US military Veterans.
